Lesson One
Emmet Fox wrote: “Poverty has spoiled so many lives it is not usually a difficult thing to handle, because there is no great subconscious terror underlying it, as in the case of many physical diseases. It is really a bad habit. It is the result of thinking poverty thoughts continually.”
The golden key to freedom from financial lack or limitation is a change in thinking. This means to no longer entertain lack-thoughts. Anyone who continues doing that can plan on experiencing financial hardship. Another golden key is to think abundantly because what fills your mind tends to be manifested as your life-experience.
It is interesting to note that anyone who has once accumulated a lot of money, if they happen to lose it, they usually create financial abundance again. When Marshall Field’s first department store burned to the ground, instead of moaning over his loss, he stood in the ashes and declared, “I will built it again, and this time, bigger and better than before.” And he did because he had an abundance consciousness. In his own way, Marshall Field knew the Source and he was confident that he would be provided the resources to make his store bigger and better.
Your golden key to prosperous living is to know God, the Source. God has never failed at anything, and never will. His resources are infinite and they are all at hand which means available as the prospering Substance (money) needed for accomplishing the desires of your heart. Pray for guidance and affirm that you have plenty of money for everything, and it will happen when you ask (affirm) in faith, believing. – Lovingly, Rev. John
