Stop Worrying
Worry is an endless circle that begins and ends in the same place. With this in mind, it is senseless to use good mental energy in worrying about the outcome of something. Isn’t it better to turn the Golden Key, to stop worrying and trust in God? This may be a little challenging, but with practice it gets easier and the reward is great.
When you worry, you expect something awful to happen. It means that you do not have faith in God to work things out to your benefit. God is bigger than any seeming problem. God is always where you are and is always for you. He is on your side. God is infinite life, love, intelligence, power and absolute good. God created the whole Universe without your help! Doesn’t it make sense, then, that God is totally capable of taking care of what you are concerned with?
Expect something wonderful to happen. Lift your thinking. Jesus said to not judge by the appearance. When He performed His miracles, He looked beyond limiting conditions and focused His thought-energy securely upon God. He expected something wonderful to happen. He said that the things He did you can do, and greater things. In the face of trying conditions, accept this as your opportunity to prove your faith in God by ceasing all worry, know that God is in charge, and all is well. Expect something wonderful to happen! Lovingly, Rev. John
