Understanding Miracles
To understand miracles, it is important to be aware of two aspects of Universal Law. First, within all humankind is vast, unlimited power, and second, this great power is impartial and unemotional. It is called Universal Mind, Christ Consciousness, or God.
Creating miracles in your life requires that you identify with this power, understand its characteristics, and learn to use it effectively. Identifying with it is accomplished by knowing and acknowledging that it is within you.
Universal Law, being impartial and unemotional, has no way of knowing what you want and it never discriminates between your hopes and aspirations. It is pure energy and accepts whatever thoughts, feelings and actions you project and produces their correspondence in your daily life.
A golden key to understanding miracles is to be aware of the beliefs you express as thoughts and feelings. When you were born, your thoughts and feelings were completely unrestricted. Boundaries and limitations, which are illusions, were established by people and conditions around you.
Understand that you are not your body, mind or emotions. You are divine spirit, therefore as unlimited as God. The more you can accept this, the quicker and more easily you prepare for miracles. Miracles happen when your consciousness is aligned with Universal Law, in other words, in tune with the Infinite.
When Jesus performed so-called miracles, He didn’t do anything that you cannot do. Neither did God step outside His usual realm of activity, as it were. Jesus’ consciousness was unified with Universal Law. He spoke His word in perfect faith knowing His action would produce what He expected.
You prepare yourself for miracles by doing the same. With practice it gets easier and more amazing! Lovingly, Rev. John

Bytes of Wisdom. . .
I have found in life that if you want a miracle you first need to do whatever it is you can do – if that’s to plant, then plant; if it is to read, then read; if it is to change, then change; if it is to study, then study; if it is to work, then work; whatever you have to do. And then you will be well on your way of doing the labor that works miracles. – Jim Rohn (Jim Rohn’s Weekly e-Zine, Feb. 18, 2003)
I think miracles exist in part as gifts and in part as clues that there is something beyond the flat world we see. – Peggy Noonan (What I Saw at the Revolution)
A Little Humor. . .
Rob and Tom apply for the same job. They take a written test. “You both got the same number of questions wrong,” the HR person tells them, “but Rob gets the job.”
“If we both got the same number of questions wrong, how come he gets the job?” Tom asks indignantly.
“Well,” says the HR person, “one of his incorrect answers was better than yours.”
“Whoa, how can that be?”
“For problem No. 46, Rob wrote, ‘I don’t know.” You wrote, “Me neither.” – Gary L. Eklund
