God is a loving Father Who loves you unconditionally. He has a perfect plan for you and your life.
If you follow God’s plan for you, it will help you to succeed and to be happy, prosperous, harmonious, and healthy. God’s plan will help you to go safely through all difficult experiences that may challenge you. God does not force you to follow His plan, however, He is lovingly waiting for you to accept His plan so that He may walk with you in His way.
Because God is your loving Father, He does not punish you if you refuse to follow His good plan. If you do not follow it, you may make unwise decisions and mistakes.
The parable of the prodigal son teaches us that our Father-God loves us so much that He allows us the freedom to make our own choices. We may go astray, but God is always waiting to welcome us back and shower us with His riches, the greatest being unconditional love.
As the New Year approaches, open your mind to God’s Wonderful Plan for you. You do this by quieting your mind and turning within to His presence, asking, and listening. In the Silence, His Perfect Plan for you for the coming year will be revealed. – Lovingly, Rev. John – (More next week.)

At a college job fair, I bumped into one of my school’s guidance counselors. “I can’t seem to find a career that intrigues me,” I said. “What are your interests?” he asked. “I like to take things apart,” but I hate putting them back together.” “Son,” replied the advisor, “you ought to consider politics.” – Marcus Johnson
