A woman, who had spent years trying to prosper, finally sought my services as a prosperity coach. After listening to her for a while, I soon realized that this woman gave more time to complaining than to being grateful. I suggested that she listen to what she was saying and to pay attention to her attitude toward life.
Reluctant to accept my counsel, at first, this woman was wise enough to not disregard what I said to her. She agreed to do what I suggested. At our next visit, she said she was amazed at her inner talk, feelings, and to the words she uttered. Slowly she began to change her attitudes and spoken words and to keep them positive.
She was obviously making progress, but then I asked her if she would like to shorten the time to begin to live more prosperously. She eagerly said she was ready. I suggested to her that she declare at least 100 times daily, Thank You, God, I am grateful!
I explained that she was to make this declaration, with feeling, regardless of what happened, and especially when faced with financial pressures. I told her that God never punishes and never sends anything negative to anyone because God is love and gives only good to all of His children, without exception. Further I said, the Gratitude Attitude meant being truly grateful for everything, beginning with each new day; especially be grateful for the great new prosperity that was rightfully hers and was coming to her now.
At her next appointment, she excitedly told me about the wonderful new job she had secured with a wonderful company that paid her more than she’d ever earned before. She said, “The Gratitude Attitude surely does work. Thank you for helping me to learn this.” – Lovingly, Rev. John

“I’m looking for a boyfriend,” I said in my comedy act at the senior center. “If any of you men are interested, submit your name along with a copy of last year’s tax return.” I usually get a big laugh with that one, but it fell flat. Only later did the manager think to explain, “This is a retirement home for priests.” – Gloria Bolduc
Walking past my father’s veterinary clinic, a woman noticed a small boy and his dog waiting outside. “Are you here to see Dr. Meyer?” she asked. “Yes,” the boy said. “I’m having my dog put in neutral.” – Sally Meyer
