Positive Ideas to Help You Live More Prosperously Every Day
This series will focus on positive ideas to help you live more prosperously every day. Prosperous Living begins, of course, in mind. Make a commitment, right now, to think prosperously every day this year. Do not engage in negative, pessimistic talk with other.
If you hear someone begin to speak that way, kindly switch the subject to the positive and prospering. These weekly lessons are designed to help you do that. Share them with others. Discuss them with family and associates.
Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity School of Christianity, shocked the religious establishment of his day (and ours) when he said, “It is a sin to be poor!” He wasn’t referring to moral turpitude, but rather to “the frustration of potentiality.” He believed and taught that, when we establish ourselves in the consciousness of God, the whole Universe moves to flow into us with its abundance of life and substance.
This is obviously what Jesus had in mind when he said, “But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well.” MT. 6:33
It has been commonly assumed that in times of economic reverses, we are all victims of a strange malaise about which there is little that can be done other than to wait and see. However, the study of the laws of spiritual economics reveals that there is much we can do, personally for ourselves, and in concert for our country and our world. – From Spiritual Economics by Eric Butterworth.
Financial limitation is not a quirk of bad luck or of the capricious will of God. It is because of consciousness. Financial problems are the outer manifestation of inner states of consciousness. It is apparent that to change the outer experience, a change in consciousness is required.
To keep thinking in the same way that has produced financial limitation, is to perpetuate the insufficiency. The key is to determine now to think abundantly, richly, and prosperously. To help you do this, visit my websites daily and read the numerous prosperity articles there. Especially read the daily, “Pro$per Now!” inspirations.
Decide, right now, that beginning today, you are going to think, feel, speak and act prosperously. If you are already doing so, then upgrade the power. The best way to do that is to practice the presence of God. God is the omni-present substance energy called Love. Love is your true prospering power! – Lovingly, Rev. John

The first rule of flow is to constantly tell your mind that you are rich. “Rich” is a way of viewing life. So tell yourself: I view the world with a kindly eye; I view it richly. – Stuart Wilde – The Little Money Bible
Dare to trust, dare to rely, dare to have faith that God is your instant and manifest supply even when you cannot see it. – E. V. Ingraham Wells of Abundance
The one who understands the true nature of God as a rich, loving Father soon realizes that the person who truly prays is bound to succeed, because he attunes himself to the richest, most powerful, most successful force in the universe. – Catherine Ponder – The Prospering Power of Prayer

The British are known for their close, symbolic relationship with their pets, as this sign on an English fence can attest: “Dog—Please Shut the Gate.”
Forget about drowning at this Juneau, Alaska, swimming hole. Getting in and out of the water could kill you. a sign reads “Safety ladder: Use at your own risk.”
As this sign in Harlow, England, seems to express, if you have the latter, eventually you’ll need the former: “Beer Garden Children’s Play Area.”
Something tells us that rangers at Ecola State Park in Oregon don’t want visitors. The entry sign reads: “$3 Fee. Correct Change Required. Ones and Fives only.”

Books Works a Miracle! – In the past two days, I have read your book, *Power Words for Prosperous Living, four times and a kind of phenomenon has happened. I believe that for the first time, I really have the full message as to just what prosperous thinking and living is! I realize that now that even though I have always had enough, and more than many people, I have been keeping myself from realizing my full reward. Now I do. Your book has worked a miracle! I now realize that prosperity is freedom. While it includes money, it is not just having money, it is depending on God, and not being obliged to people for my existence. Having the means to do as you wish, financially, and not owe others, is freedom. Thanks for writing such a great book. – B. G. in Washington State
