How Do You Turn the Golden Key?
I recently announced that October, 2012 marks the 38th anniversary of the founding of Golden Key Ministry-Unity and invited everyone to celebrate with us. The best way to celebrate is to sharpen your ability in turning the Golden Key. Through the rest of October, give special attention to doing this.

The Easy Way of Dealing with Problems
The usual way of trying to solve problems is to give them a lot of attention by thinking about them and trying to come up with solutions, while imagining all sorts of bad things happening. That is the hard way, and you still have the seeming problem. The easy way is to stop thinking about the problem and think of God instead. Too often, someone will resist this out of fear or the mistaken belief that they must try to think away a problem or difficulty.
Sometimes when a person has been going over a seeming problem for quite a while and it has appeared to grow in size, they will think that turning the Golden Key is simply too simple to work. That is the wrong assumption.
It does require work in that a change in habitual thinking is needed. This is often the hardest “work.” But with practice, it gets easier, and the more you practice, the greater is your success.
A person who was experiencing difficulty with a child, decided to “Golden Key” him. He stopped seeing the child as obstreperous and misbehaving, and began to see him as kind, wise, loving and happy. In other words, he focused his attention on God. It took a few weeks, but eventually, the child made what appeared to be a miraculous change. What really happened was, his parent changed, and provided a higher, happier environment and the child responded accordingly.
You are invited to celebrate our anniversary by turning the Golden Key. Prove to yourself that it works. It is love at work and is always successful. – Lovingly, Rev. John

Prayer Brings Healing! – Several weeks ago, I asked you to pray with me for healing for my daughter. After writing, it wasn’t long before she began to function more on her own. She is making excellent progress now, and I am sure everything will be fine. Please continue to pray with me for her. It is good to know that someone cares. I am enclosing my tithe. Your ministry is reaching more people than you might think. – Connecticut

Struggle is a sure sign that you are moving against your blessings. Quit fighting for or against your good – it will come to you more quickly when you are relaxed. You cannot fight for peace; if you are fighting for anything, you are at war. Peace is a natural gift that you accept by opening your heart and letting go of the struggle. – Alan Cohen

A Little of Humor . . .
Reporter to Sir Winston Churchill: “What do you say, Sir, to the prediction that by the year 2000 women will be ruling the world?”
Churchill smiled his wise old cherubic smile, “They still will, eh?”
Unless you can create the whole universe in five days, perhaps giving “advice” to God isn’t such a good idea.
