It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
When someone decides on a goal, they may pray for the guidance and strength to achieve it successfully. This is good, however, sometimes a person will believe he must put in so much effort, it wears him out. He may also believe he must fret over the details to make sure he is always on the right track. This is not necessary. The easier and more successful way is to set the goal and then, divinely guided, proceed in a relaxed and easy manner as you allow your greater good to manifest itself through you.
Jesus said, “It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” He didn’t say you must try hard to get it, or get all worked up over it. The kingdom here represents the greater good you desire. Desire is the inner impulse of God assuring you of greater good and comes with everything needed to fulfill it. In other words, it is the kingdom of God in you wanting to be expressed through you. It will manifest naturally in your life unless resisted or interfered with.
The key to fulfillment is allowing. This means to relax, let go and let God. Know that all of God’s infinite resources are working through you, all people and conditions. Divinely guided, do what needs to be done by you in the assurance that your desire is already yours. Don’t fret, let! – Lovingly, Rev. John
Golden Keys to Answered Prayers …
You are always wise to practice the presence of God in prayer. This means to acknowledge that all of God’s resources are within you, guiding you in making right decisions. It also means that you know that God is the only presence, power and activity within you and everywhere. Allow yourself to feel His presence moving in and through you. This removes doubt and anxiety, and fills you with love, peace, and joy.

A Little Humor …
During the first week of classes at Clearwater Christian College in Florida, I watched a freshman enter the dining room and go directly to the ice cream freezer. He dipped a huge dish of ice cream and carried it to a table. “Is that all you’re having for dinner?” I asked.
“No way,” he replied. “It’s just that my parents always made me eat my dessert last.” – Roger C. Miller
