Welcome to 2016!
This is the time to get busy doing the things you said you’d do “after the first of the New Year.” Following are some helpful things to move you forward in accomplishing what’s really important to you, and to make this a very successful year.
Most of all, make time for prayer and meditation in which you acknowledge the presence of God within you, and everywhere. Open your mind to divine guidance and give thanks that God is guiding you every step of the way.
Release and let go of last year, and old, limiting ideas and beliefs. If 2015 was a challenging time for you, it is best to bless it, release it, and allow yourself to be free. If last year was good, give thanks, but release it anyway. It is never profitable to hang on to former things even if they brought you joy. By hanging on, you prevent the even better experiences from manifesting in your life.
Decide that this year will be a time of making whatever changes necessary to enjoy a very successful year. The most important change is in thinking. What you experience in your life is in direct relation to what you think, the beliefs and ideas you hold in mind. Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t — you’re right.” The golden key to success is in thinking, “I CAN!” Then proceed to do whatever is right and good for you.
This is especially true when you remember that “With God ALL things are possible,” and that God is within you and you allow God to do the work. God is always successful so the mark of success is upon you now, and every day.
To truly experience Positive Living, requires positive thinking. Emmet Fox wrote in The Mental Equivalent, “Everything that you see or feel on the material plane, whether it is your body, your home, your business, or your city, is but the concrete expression of a mental equivalent that you hold.”
If you have not been tithing, now is the time to release old ideas regarding this prosperity practice. Open your mind and learn the best way to establish your finances with the vast, unlimited resources of God.
To experience the truly successful year you desire, create in your thinking the correspondence of that and align your actions with that and you will be really happy with what you create. Remember that love is the most important thing of all, so saturate your thinking, your desires, and your actions with love. – Lovingly, Rev. John
As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. – Proverbs 23:7

The instruction given in Psalm 91 is to turn within, shut the door, and pray to the Father in secret. This means to relax, quiet your mind and close it to worldly things. Refrain from thinking about anything but God. Allow your thinking to dwell in “the secret place of the Most High.” Open your mind to all the goodness of God, His infinite love, life, wisdom, strength, power, joy, substance, and peace. Deep within your own soul, gratefully accept these as the Father’s gift to you. Give thanks that all that God has for you is now manifesting in your life.

Tithing Brings Life Improvement! – I have been faithfully tithing and am seeing a change of attitude in my home. I’ve been able to pay off a lot of bills because of a good increase in the flow of money. The people I work with are more positive and I am enjoying my work more. I feel more confident about myself. It has made a difference since I started tithing and instead of saying, “I am poor,” to declaring, “God is my source and there are no limitations in me or in my life.” My life has surely improved and I am grateful. Enclosed is my tithe. – F. W. in Michigan

During the first week of classes at Clearwater Christian College in Florida, I watched a freshman enter the dining room and go directly to the ice cream freezer. He dipped a huge dish of ice cream and carried it to a table. “Is that all you’re having for dinner?” I asked.
“No way,” he replied. “It’s just that my parents always made me eat my dessert last.” – Roger C. Miller
