There Is a Way Out – a Right Solution.
By Rev. John W. Adams
Regardless of how bad things may look or how severe a problem or difficulty may seem, there is a way out – a right solution. If you have worked toward a goal for a long time with no apparent success, or even it things seem to go backward, do not lose heart, do not give up – things are working out.
It is always good to remember that what you are experiencing did not come to stay but to pass on. Change is inevitable and as you hold to your faith in God, no mater what the odds, you will win. I have found this to be true and it has been the experience of hundreds of people whom I have counseled over the years.
Discovere the Way of Success and Prosperity
A young businessman came to me with his financial challenge of getting a new business going. Even though he was a tither and professed great faith in God, he was deeply troubled because his business was not developing as quickly as he had hoped for, and he had experienced several financial reversals. Financial ruin seemed imminent.
As we talked, he was reminded that as a tithe he had nothing to fear because he had established his “divine connection” with God, the source of his rich supply. He was also reminded that God is never late, but always on time, at the right time.
As we prayed together, we reaffirmed the availability of God’s lavish abundance and that as the deserving child of a rich Father, he was always more than adequately provided for. We agreed that all he needed was coming forth quickly. He left with renewed faith and a new determination.
Just when things looked the worst for this businessman, everything turned around for him. Today, many years later, he is continuing to prosper beyond his greatest hopes and dreams.
Most people go through similar experiences at one time or another. Things look so bad it may seem that even God has forsaken them. I have had a few of those experiences myself. I understand what a person is going through when faced with dire circumstances and when there appears to be no way out. But I hasten to say that when things look the worst that may be the very moment when things are about to work out – to be better than ever. I have found this to be true. Just by hanging on a little longer, drawing on my reserve of faith and courage, things have worked out – usually better than what I had in mind.
There is Light at Both Ends of a Tunnel
When things look the worst, hang in there! Do not give up. It means that things are about to change for the better. It is often darkest before the dawn. Remember, you go from light to light. That dark or difficult period is passing away. Lift your vision, lift your head and call upon your reserve of faith. You will move into the light again.
A very helpful thing to do to avoid difficult times is to establish your conscious oneness with God. Give attention to incorporating into your thinking, all the attributes of God such as life, love, peace, power, faith, substance, and intelligence so that you feel, as well as know, God is within and all around you.
God Never Sends Trouble or Difficulties
Remember that it is never the intention of God for you to suffer, to experience difficulties. Problems and difficulties are not real. They have no reality of themselves. Problems only exist in thought even though they may seem very real. Since thoughts can be changed, problems can be changed by withdrawing power from them and by refocusing your thinking upon God only. God is good, the one and only reality.
When things look the worst, remember that the darkness is passing. There is a way through and out. So hang in there! Never give up except to give the difficulty over to God. Let go and let Him take care of things through you and His other blessed channels. Have faith in God. Believe He is working things out in His own perfect way for your highest good now. Accept this as so now. It is, you know.
