The Metaphysical Meaning of the Gifts from the Wise Men
When the three Wise Men traveled to where Jesus was born, it was the end of their journey. However, it signified the beginning of a new journey of spiritual enlightenment for humanity in that they gave three very valuable gifts to the Christ Child: Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.
Metaphysically, Gold represents spiritual gifts; the riches of Spirit. The gold the Wise Men brought to the Christ child was a consciousness of the omnipresent richness of substance; the Presence of God. Frankincense represents the transmutation of the material consciousness into the spiritual. Myrrh represents the eternity of Spirit, an emblem of Resurrection, an ointment of love.
It was not only the Wise Men who had these gifts to give, we have them too. When you open the treasure chest of your soul, you see you have gifts worth far more than the usual gifts of Christmas, even more valuable than the most precious gold.
These are gifts of unconditional love that know no barriers, and enfolds your loved ones and all people. Your gifts of forgiveness and understanding reveal that you accept every person, including yourself, as a cherished child of God. Every time you give from your soul, you honor God and the holy child of God that you and every person is. It is the Christ in you seeing them as the Christ, the spirit of divine love.
Now, and throughout this beautiful season, open your Christmas Treasure Chest and give your spiritual gifts freely and generously. Allow yourself to be open and receptive to the same from others’ treasure chests. This is the true activity of Christmas and it blesses you and all richly, lovingly and abundantly. – Namaste! – Rev. John
Let all that you do be done in love. – 1 Corinthians 16:14

Enjoys ministry! – Dear Rev. John, I’ve enjoyed your loving, compassionate and beautifully worded messages for several years now and have sent very little money. The messages came whether I sent a donation or not. Gods’ words, through you, have sustained me and saved my life by reminding me who is in charge. I’m so grateful that you are willing to spread the love of God in such a generous way. Love and blessings in abundance. – B. H. in Maryland
Grateful for Prayers! – Thank you for your prayers for myself, my family, and all my loved ones. It is always a pleasure to hear from you and to know that your ministry is supporting us in prayer every day. Together, our prayers are making a wonderful difference in our lives. Please continue to keep me in prayer as I undertake a new real estate transaction. Then I will know I am divinely guided and all the money I need will be provided. With your prayers, I know everything is in divine order. – P. F. in New York
A Little Humor …
