God, as the power of Life, is made manifest in every living being. We, in this human experience, cannot know Life in its fullness based on our sense consciousness alone. It is beyond the limited thinking of the mind and physical comprehension. Therefore, we must seek to know Health, Life, God, through our spiritual consciousness and being.
How do we come into this knowing? Through conscious communion with Spirit in prayer and meditation.
As Health, God is the absolute principle of “Wholeness” and perfection. We begin to realize our right relation with our oneness, with this perfect wholeness, through the indwelling Christ presence. This brings us into the consciousness of Christ’s indwelling life and health ever present within us.
SCRIPTURE:
“I in them, and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one.” (John 17:23)
“On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” (John 14:20)
God is Omnipotent; therefore, all power could not be sick. God is Omniscience, all knowledge brings about perfect healing and knows how to cure anything. God is Omnipresent, everywhere present, within you, me, the universe and all that is within it. God, as Perfection, Life, Truth and Power…is “Wholeness.”
When we come face to face with the negative conditions of our mind and body, we may believe or feel that God has sent health challenges that we might become stronger or for some life lesson, but nothing is further from the truth.
The affirmation, “God is Health” means Wholeness. God can never be the source of physical or mental imperfection because God is Wholeness. It is our limited understanding and misinterpretation, the misuse of spiritual principles, that creates these conditions in our life. Negative thought patterns, misbeliefs and giving power to the sickness, rather than believing in the Omnipotent power of God.
Our sense consciousness, tends to hang on to the idea that sickness is a condition of life that we are unable to avoid in this human experience. But God never intended disease for us. God intended for us to have unending and continual good health, to experience wholeness in Mind, Body and Spirit. We are the ones who have turned our belief and power over to the human experience.
Disease and illness occurs in the manifest world because we, through our collective consciousness, have brought it into being through the power of our thinking and misuse of Spiritual Law. Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind.
When one experiences disease or sickness, it is imperative to turn our thoughts over to Spirit and affirm the Truth of our being. “As a child of God, I do not inherit sickness!” Plant this deeply within your being through prayer and meditation. This will create the opening for healing and begin the process of establishing your belief in right relations to your wholeness of mind, body and spirit.
SCRIPTURE:
“My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings…For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4: 20, 22)
Let us open our hearts and minds to perfect healing, by letting go of appearances and holding to the Truth with our whole being, realizing that:
- God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscience. Disease cannot exist in the presence of God.
- Divine Intelligence has the power to create and has made a perfect spiritual body for each of us.
- We come into a spiritual understanding through persistent faith and practice.
- God as Health and Wholeness, is present in every cell of my body.
AFFIRMATION:
Say this Affirmation out loud multiple times each day until you come into a knowing and belief that it is Truth.
“The healing Spirit of God is flowing throughout my body. I Am Healthy, Whole and Free of disease!”
Blessings of Health and Wholeness, Rev. Tina Brown
Are You in the Flow of Prosperity?
Rev. John W. Adams
Eric Butterworth, long-time Unity minister, and author of many books, wrote: “Prosperity is not just having a lot of money. It is having a consciousness of the flow of substance. The true ‘prosperity consciousness’ is consistently open to the flow, attracts opportunities both to give and receive, wisely directs the use of substance, and remains free from its burden. An important guideline: If you are worried about the money you have or don’t have, you are out of the flow.”
I knew a lady who was a multi-millionaire, but had a tendency to worry when her income went down by one or two million, even though she was far from being out of money. Obviously, she was out-of-the-flow. Fortunately, when it was pointed out to her that worrying about her income would not help, she stopped worrying and opened her mind to greater abundance. The money flowed in again, more than ever! Actually, what this lady did was to “Golden Key” the situation in that she stopped thinking about the seeming problem and focused on God, the Source.
A way to get into the flow of abundance, and stay in it, is to relax and acknowledge your oneness with all that God is. Focus on Universe’s ability and inclination to provide for you. The Universe is everywhere, and flows constantly in and through you. Keep it flowing by relaxing, letting go, and joyfully accepting the abundance that is yours by divine right. – Lovingly, Rev. John
