Hello, this is Reverend John Adams. I am minister of Golden Key Ministry Unity, a worldwide prayer ministry by mail and the Internet. I’ve been helping people through prayer, inspiration and positive help for over 45 years. And I love what I do. Open your mind to the ideas I share with you here and put them to work in your life.
You get what you expect to get.
Gardner Hunting wrote:
Believe you can and you can.
Believe you will and you will.
See yourself achieving, and you will achieve.
Never give up. Giving up is like letting go of a life preserver when you are almost saved. You cannot lose if you hang on.
Expectation is faith in expression. Nothing much happens to those with pessimistic attitudes.
One time, a woman and her husband, who lived in New York and knew little about fishing went fishing in the ocean near Santa Barbara, California. It was a charter boat with experienced fishermen on board. They mocked at this couple’s rented fishing gear and her expression of faith in catching fish.
But she sat quietly, saying nothing, just holding her fishing pole and waiting. Soon she caught a big fish, then another and another. While everyone else grumbled at their luck, she was catching fish. Why did she do that? She expected to.
Here is a good statement for you to use:
I anticipate all impending events with enthusiasm and expectation of good.
Declare this several times daily and your desires will begin to be fulfilled more easily — especially declared when you are embarking on a new project or anticipating some life changes or going fishing.
Faith is important. Believe you receive. Act as though it is already so, and it will be.
