By Rev. John W. Adams
Prayer and Meditation is an excellent way to prepare for Christmas. It’s pretty easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of the Christmas season. Too often it leads to being stressed out and impatient, which are not necessary, and can be avoided.
A woman inquired of a spiritual counselor how she could avoid getting frazzled and uptight during the Christmas season. The counselor suggested that, each day leading up to Christmas, she set aside a time each morning for being still, to breathe slowly and deeply as she relaxed completely in the loving presence of God within her. Doing as instructed, she was amazed at how much easier and better everything went. Through the Christmas season, she was more peaceful and happier than she could have imagined. She liked this new practice so much, she decided to make it a daily practice throughout the year.
To have a relaxed Christmas season, make some extra time for prayer and meditation. Each morning, quietly open your mind and heart to his great Presence.
Be still in the Silence with God as you attune your whole being to His peace, love and joy. Focus your whole attention upon the presence of God and invite all that God is to be alive in you, as you. You will be delighted!
Now you are ready to go shopping and to enjoy all the beauty and joy of Christmas. Have fun! Go for it with all your heart!
😁Lovingly, Rev. John

Golden Keys to Answered Prayer…
When you declare something that is innately true and do so repetitively, you establish a new subconscious belief system. Thus, you empower yourself and change your life. It is the correct use of your great mind power. To affirm anything, (pray scientifically) is to state that it is true, even though appearances may say otherwise.
Job said, “Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto to you.” In other words, if we affirm Truth steadfastly, we are in accord with God’s law of fulfillment. It is the Law of Attraction in practical application.
In the Mail…

Prayers bring Abundance! – God bless all of you who have been praying with me. When I first wrote to you, I had no job and was hundreds of dollars in debt. I am happy to report that all the bills are paid. Also, a friend for whom I had done some things for, several months ago, sent me an extra $150 check in appreciation. I am now working for a good company with excellent benefits and a great bonus system. Needless to say, I am very happy and thankful. Prayer sure does bring abundance! My grateful tithe is enclosed. – P. E. – California

A Little Humor…
The Bishop spoke to the congregation about the priest and nun shortage. “Too many of you are only having one child and letting them go off into other professions. I propose that each family should have three children: one for the father, one for the mother and one for the church.”
A few days later, the Bishop was out grocery shopping when he saw a pregnant woman from his parish. But before he could say hello, she shouted above the crowd, “This one is yours, Bishop!” – Edwin Kline
