The Greatest Need of the human self is love

THE GREATEST NEED of the human self is love. Whatever else you have – wealth, fame, education, material benefits – without love you are empty. The need to express love is vital to your physical body to keep it running harmoniously. Love is like oil for a machine. A well-loved body is a happy body.
Have you ever been in a place that was lacking in love? Who wants to stay in a consciousness of hate, criticism, fear, coldness, or negativity? When I have entered a place like that, I would bless it and the people there with love, light, and peace, and leave as soon as I could.
Love will change any negative condition into a positive one. If a person’s behavior is inharmonious, they’re really asking for love . . . so love them.
No one can afford anger. Anger destroys happiness. It also destroys your body. Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, said that anger cooks your corpuscles. Especially pour love out to angry people. Surround and enfold them in Love – Divine Love.
The same is true for hateful people. Enough love will eventually change any hateful person, so surround them with enough love – Divine Love!
The old, erroneous teaching that God is a kind of vengeful, record-keeping, often angry human-like Being in the sky is not valid. It is unscientific and is simply not true. God is pure Love – That is why Love is divine! It is the ‘stuff’ you are made of. That is why you are love!
Yes, Love is the one reality. It is totally present all the time, works miracles and its nature is harmony. If you are participating in our DIVINE LOVE – 28, good for you! Divine love is working its miracles in your mind, heart and life. Don’t be surprised when miracles begin happening to you! Miracles are what Divine Love does best!

Miracles are happening! – It is amazing the miracles that keep happening in my life! Since I wrote to you and asked for prayer support, one miracle after another has happened. First, my husband stopped smoking. Then, our son who had been having difficulty in school and wanted to drop out, began to change his attitude. His grades have improved and he now has a new attitude toward himself and school. Also, our finances have substantially improved. We have our own business and after a few years of struggle, it is now beginning to prosper. We attribute that to our beginning to tithe and looking to God as our Source. Thank you for your prayers and teachings. We are all very grateful. Our thankful tithe is enclosed in support of the great work you are doing. Thank you for being there. – New Mexico
