Should You Thank God for Your Challenges?

Some people have said that we should thank God for everything, even our troubles and challenges. While it is beneficial and advisable to be grateful for the good you receive, never thank God for troubles or challenges. God didn’t give them to you! You created them yourself through your own wrong thinking, or disobedience to divine law.
Problems and challenges can be growth curves, but they will not keep you down unless you dwell on them. This is especially true with health challenges, regardless of how seemingly serious they seem to be.
To experience radiant health, make sure your beliefs about God, yourself and your body are on a high plane. Thank God for His lively presence as your perfect body. Feel a deep sense of gratitude for the healthy energy of divine love permeating every cell of your body.

Gratitude Prospers You

One time a man asked me to pray with him for prosperity. I readily agreed to do so because of my deep belief that God wants everyone to be prosperous.
After a few weeks of prayerfully knowing the prospering truth for him, he was still experiencing financial lack. This puzzled me until one day, while talking with him by phone, I asked him how thankful he was. He quickly responded that he had nothing to be thankful for. So, I asked him to take a deep breath, which he did. “There,” I said. “Did you enjoy that breath?” When he admitted that he did, I said, “That’s number one.”
He got the message and agreed to follow my instructions for making a gratitude list. Another important thing he did was to begin tithing when I explained that tithing is giving thanks with our money. He was amazed at the rapid increase in his financial supply as well as his level of health and joy. He said, “This gratitude business sure does work wonders!”
Gratitude is Love powerfully moving in you. It pays to be grateful for what you have and for what you expect to have. If your money supply appears to be low, bless your bank account, your work, your wallet, and all the channels through which your supply flows. Give thanks often for the abundance of God’s rich supply constantly flowing in and through you and continuously manifesting in your life. This is the activity of Love, the great prospering energy of God. – Lovingly, Rev. John
