Miracles – The Golden Key-Unity Way
Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, wrote: “Imagination gives man the ability to project himself through time and space and rise above all limitations.” When you realize how powerful and miracle-producing your imagination is, you will use it wisely. Unfortunately, some people spend too much time imagining all sorts of negative things happening to them, then wonder why their lives are not happier.
One time a lady came to me who, from all appearances had everything going for her, but she was unhappy, unhealthy, and experienced more than her share of financial lack. As we talked, it became clear that she was a worrier who spent a lot of time picturing undesirable things in her mind. She wanted to know how she could be happier and get her life going in a better direction. Fortunately, she was ready for a change and open to new ideas.
I suggested to her that she spend more time in quietly use her imagination to see herself healthy, happy and prosperous, and to do so with feeling making everything vivid and alive in her imagination. She said she would do it.
When she came to see me, two weeks later, it was obvious that she had followed my suggestion. She said a miracle had happened.
Miracles always happen when you get in tune with God and use your imagination to “see” the happy things you’d really like to experience. Dwell upon those things in your mind and gratefully accept that they are yours now.
A reader in New Mexico wrote, “A miracle has happened! I want to thank you from my heart for your help in praying with me. Recently, I wrote for help in getting a used, but reliable car. You told me to visualize a really good car parked in my driveway and that it was mine. I did as you advised. Then one day I had the intuition to go to a local car dealer and followed my guidance. They had just taken in a car only the day before I showed up! It was perfect. It was in absolutely immaculate condition with only 60,000 miles and not a scratch anywhere inside or out. The velour was in perfect condition, too. After my mechanic checked it out, he said, ‘It is in perfect condition. You have found a gem.’ I discovered that I could finance it through my credit Union with low payments. I am so happy!
“Also, I’ve been offered a new, well-paying job and was asked to speak at a conference for which I will be generously compensated. I am grateful for all the wonderful ‘miracles’ happening in my life. Thank you for praying with me.”
Use your miracle-working power of imagination and wonderful miracles will happen to you, too! God’s miracles are abundantly present. Open your mind to them. Imagine them as yours and you will happily live them! – Lovingly, Rev. John
