Occasionally someone will say to me, “I don’t know why I am here.” They are referring to their life on Mother Earth. Whatever else we may do during our life times, there is at least one main reason for us to be here and that is to help each other. This means to be kind to each other and to be there and lend a helping hand, give a kind word, and just give of ourselves to help make life easier, healthier and better for not just those close to us, but everybody.
This has been a primary focus with me for a long time and it became more clear to me recently when I spent four days and nights in a hospital. Doctors, nurses and other medical and hospital people are paid to serve, but I soon realized that they are all there to be helpful to the patients.
These people really care for others and it shows in their attitudes and actions. I am so grateful for everyone who so lovingly and expertly did everything to help my healing process. Many of these people did more than they needed. I love all of them and give thanks for them.
I’ve been home for over two weeks now, as I write this, and am getting stronger and healthier every day. During this time, Marcie, my most helpful assistant, was with her family in Illinois as her mother made her transition. Marcie needed to be there for her mother and the rest of her family. Understandably, we got a little behind with things in our office and we are working to get caught up now.
For many years I have had several people who have served as the “official” prayer partners with me for this ministry. There are others whom I call upon, too. I am most grateful for the numerous people who were praying with me, and still are.
Prayer has always been a primary focus of Golden Key Ministry-Unity. Although we do not have physical contact with people around the world, who ask us to pray with them, we really care about each one and do whatever we can to let them know it and to help them in extra ways, too.
One of the best parts of my recent experience is that my daughter, Kelly, has been staying with me most of the time. There are others who have come to visit and be helpful.
Sometimes when I am out and about, someone will hold open a door for me. I always thank them. My thought usually is, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we were always kind and helpful to each other. Our Planet would be an even more beautiful, wonderful and peaceful place for us all to share.”
So, regardless of what else you are guided to do during your tenure on Mother Earth, being kind and helpful to others – everyone – is a very loving and beneficial thing to do. It’s not only good for others, but good for you, and a wonderful way to Live Life Lovingly! – Lovingly, Rev. John
Comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word. – 2 Thessalonians 2:17

In The Mail…
Dear Rev. John: Enclosed is my Love Offering for the Prosperity Program, which I have been benefitting from greatly. I have been a student of metaphysics for almost 40 years. One of my earliest teachers, through his writings, was Emmet Fox. I was drawn to him, in part, because of his simplicity in expressing his ideas, his insightfulness, and his directness. You, my friend, are carrying on his teachings in the same manner.
Wishing you all the best in all things and thank you for the contribution you make to my life. – C. L.

Have you ever noticed that the hardness of the butter increases with the softness of the bread?
Some years ago, my high-school boyfriend and I were driving my father to his bowling league. I got in the back of the car to let my father ride up front. Along the way I leaned forward to comment on how strange it felt to be sitting back there, because I had never been in the back seat of the car before.
“Boy,” said my father, “am I ever relieved to hear that!” – Julia Collins
