Emmet Fox wrote: “Don’t wait around for God to act dramatically – because He probably won’t. When people expect a dramatic miracle from the outside, they are really hoping to change conditions without changing themselves; to get something for nothing, in fact, and that would be a violation of cosmic law.”
Sometimes we receive a prayer request from a person who asks us to pray for another person to change. We are happy to receive prayer requests, but we pray for God’s highest good to be done.
If you desire for someone dear to you to change, then you are wise to BE the changes you wish to see in another. Do a little introspection to discover what needs changing in you. When this is revealed to you, open your mind to being guided from within, and follow that guidance.
Love works miracles, but the highest and best way for Love to do its work is to get in touch with Love within you and invite it to change you at depth. By so doing you create the right consciousness and behavior for attracting to you, wonderful, loving people like you.
It may take a while for the change to show results, but the results will surely come as you persist. Relax and be at peace knowing that moment by moment God (Love) is at work in you and all is well.
When a lady’s husband had left, she saw it as a wake up call and set about changing herself, especially her thinking. Every day she meditated on Love inviting it to have its way in her. She radiated love to her husband. After a while, he called and wanted to see her. When they met, he was amazed at the change in her. He found her to be very desirable and soon moved back into their home. It was not the old love that was re-kindled, but new love now expressing in and through both of them. – Lovingly, Rev. John

The Healing Word
All your happiness, all your health and power, come from God. They flow in an unbroken stream from fountainhead into the very center of your being and radiate from center to circumference. When you acknowledge this constantly and deny that outside things can hinder your happiness, health or power, it helps you to realize health and power and happiness.
The Prospering Word
How a Realtor Prospered – Certainly the Master Teacher had a “first-class consciousness” twenty centuries ago. Jesus not only had a great prayer consciousness and a great healing consciousness, but He also had a consciousness of “nothing but the best,” as is evidenced through His prosperity miracles and parables. Among His many promises was this familiar one: “In my Father’s house are many mansions.” (John 14:2) A Realtor meditated on this prosperity promise and received two new real estate listings the very next day. – Catherine Ponder
Bytes of Wisdom. . .
The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them. – Thomas Merton
Fear and love can never be experienced at the same time. It is always our choice as to which of these emotions we want. – Gerald Jampolsky
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble, how hopeless the outlook, how muddled the tangle, how great the mistake. A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all. – Emmet Fox

A Little Humor. . .
The police officer pulled over a guy driving a convertible because he had a penguin riding in the passenger seat.
“Hey, buddy, is that an actual penguin?”
“Yeah. I just picked him up.”
“Well, why don’t you take him to the zoo?”
The guy agreed, but the very next day the cop saw him drive by again with the penguin sitting beside him.
“I thought I told you to take that thing to the zoo,” said the officer.
“I did,” the guy replied. “And we had such a good time, tonight we’re going to a hockey game.”
