Turn the Golden Key – 2
Faith and Love: The Dynamic Duo!
All through October we are celebrating our 43rd anniversary and you are invited to join in the celebration. Especially give attention to Golden Keying everything. The best way is in inviting the dynamic duo of Faith and Love to work within you and in your life.
Faith is essential. Believe you receive! When someone came to Jesus and asked for healing, He always inquired of their faith. He said, “Do you believe I can do this?” Of course, Jesus, of Himself, didn’t do anything, but it was the Christ, or God in Him that did the work. He also said, “According to your faith it is done unto you.” He was saying that it depended in large part on your level of belief.
Emmet Fox wrote in The Golden Gate: “There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer; no disease that enough love will not heal; no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that enough love will not bridge; no wall that enough love will not throw down; no sin that enough love will not redeem.”
This is very conclusive. It covers every human experience. A vital word is, “enough.” How much love is enough? Whatever is required to take care of things. The important thing is to allow yourself to be in tune with Divine Love and let it do whatever it wants in your mind, heart, body, and life. It is completely safe to put your trust and faith in Love in the knowing that it is all-powerful and will do even the seemingly impossible. Love is the ultimate golden key power. It never fails.
Faith and Love work well together. The real Golden Key is to love the Source of all good and believe that It is fulfilling your heart’s desire. – Lovingly, Rev. John

Rise and Shine!
By Rev. Tina Brown
I am a new creation! I rise and shine, for my light has come!
Plug in the Universal Light Switch, Turn the Golden Key, wake up the world around you and shine! Stand up and be counted! Illuminate the spirit of God within you. Did you know that God needs you to shine his light as you, as me! Stand illumined! Be heard, be seen! What’s holding you back?
Step 1) Think back on your life and ask yourself these questions:
- Where have I been throughout my life’s journey?
- What has been my chosen path?
- Where am I now?
- Am I satisfied with where life has taken me thus far?
- Where am I going?
- Will it lead me to my ultimate desire?
Prayerfully contemplate these questions. Search deep within yourself and write the answers down as they come. Allow the Holy Spirit of Truth and Wisdom to well up inside you. Don’t try to force the answers…allow them to flow from your heart center, this where the power of Love resides within you. Once you have written the answers, read through them and see how they resonate with your being.
Step 2) Ask yourself these questions:
- Am I radiating the Light of God into my life experiences?
- Am I being an expression of Light and Truth in the world?
- Am I showing up as who God created me to be?
- As the answers come to you write them down.
Step 3) From your current understanding, write down the ways you think you are or are not expressing the Light of God in your life. Perhaps you see that you are moving in and out of this expression depending on your life experiences.
- Are you a flicker of Hope, bringing a sense of peace and rest?
- Are you a beacon of Light, such as the lighthouse sitting on the seashore guiding the ships safely as they pass by?
- Perhaps your Light shines liked the vibrant flood lights filling the stadium, cheering on the game of life for all to see.
- Perhaps you are a consistent and steady Light, bringing a sense of security when life gets stormy, such as the steady flame of the oil lamp.
Step 4) Now reread all your answers, take them into prayer, connecting with the presence of God and allow God’s Light to rise-up within you. Replace all concerns or negative energy only with God thoughts. Allow yourself to be immersed in the Light of God. See it in your mind’s eye and feel the warmth.
We cannot be nurtured and grow into our fullest potential without the radiating, encouraging Son-Light of God! That is, allowing the Light of the Christ consciousness, to rise-up within us. If we continue to allow ourselves to live in the darkness, dwelling in negativity, we are in danger of losing or distorting our vision. Too much darkness can depress one’s senses and even lead to death. The death of our hopes, dreams, and yes, even one’s physical life.
The Truth is, that no matter where you may be, the Light of God is always within you, ready to shine and radiate love, power and hope, into the world.
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.” John 8:12, 31, 32
What would the world look like if we lived as the “Light of Christ”, expressing as the Truth of our being? We would be set free of the thought patterns of this world that hold us bondage! We would be walking in the light of life!
In my mind’s eye, I see that the world would transform into a heavenly state of being. Where people love one another, truly, as themselves. And they don’t just speak the words, they really do love themselves, because they are fully aware of the Divine presence that resides within them. A place where peace and beauty abides. Plants, animals, human beings and all living things dwell together in perfect harmony. A place of mutual respect and love for one another. Children grow up freely to the joys of life and discovery. Marriage and committed relationships sing and rejoice in Holy Communion each and every day. Fear is merely a state of awe and respect, for there is nothing to be “afraid” of in the light of God.
Step 5) How can we activate and turn on the power switch of God’s Light in our life?
Turn the Golden Key of course! Turning our negative thoughts, concerns or worries around and affirming the activity of God in our life instead. I like to use the words from a Unity Hymn written by Georgiana Tree West, as an affirmation. “I Am the radiant life of God, I Am, I Am, I Am! I Am the radiant life of God, I Am, I Am, I Am. The health of God, the strength of God, vitality, energy, vim of God, I Am the radiant life of God, I AM, I Am, I Am.” This affirmative song cheers me up, lifts my spirits! It turns my thinking around.
We begin to make these changes in the world around us, when we Turn the Golden Key, change our own thinking and begin modeling a life of Light.
Emmet Fox wrote:
“If you are thinking about your difficulty, you are not thinking about God. Your object is to drive the thought of difficulty out of your consciousness for a few moments at least, substituting for it the thought of God. At first it may be difficult to get your thoughts away from material things. But by constantly repeating a statement of absolute truth, such as, God is guiding me now, however mechanical it may seem, you will soon find that the treatment has begun to “take” and that your mind is clearing.” He emphasized, “Do not try to think in advance what the solution to your difficulty will be. Leave the questions and ways and means to God.” (The Golden Key)
Practice the Truth of your being and take it into your daily life to share with those around you. Allow the light of who you are to touch the lives of others so that they too can turn on the Light of their own minds and hearts, awakening to a new way of living and being. Live your Truth with integrity and love. Heal the pain, let go of all that would bind you. Radiate the light of God and turn the world on to the power of Love!
So, my beloveds, stand Illumined and let your Light shine, shine, shine!
Blessings of love, light and great Joy!
Rev. Tina Brown

House Prayers Answered! – Thank you for praying with me for the right house to rent. Right now, all I can say is, hallelujah! As I was browsing on the web looking for a 3 bedroom house to rent for myself and my family, the lady with whom I’ve been staying, happened to be looking over my shoulder. She asked if I wanted to rent the one I was staying in since she was moving out.
I was literally floored, but silently thanked God over and over. By accepting this house, I helped her make a major decision to move, and she is now getting ready to do so. Everything has been worked out with the owners of the house and I will move my family in next month. Thank you immensely for answered prayer. You are the best. Please keep praying with me for continually increasing prosperity. God bless you! I am so grateful! – A reader in Virginia
