Speak positive words for success, good health and prosperity
Get ready for a bright new year of great success, happiness and miracles! This year will be a really good one when you speak the positive word for success, good health and prosperity.
In Florence Scovell Shinn’s book, Your Word is Your Wand, she tells of the story of when a man called her and asked for a positive prayer for employment. She gave him the statement: “Behold I have set before you the open door of destiny and no man shall shut it!” But it didn’t seem to impress her very much and she was inspired to add: “And no man shall shut it for it is nailed back!”
The man was electrified and uplifted. Within a few weeks he was called to a distant city to fill a wonderful position with a wonderful salary.
A woman, who came to Florence, fearlessly followed a “hunch.” She was working for a small salary when she read Florence Scovell Shinn’s book, The Game of Life and How to Play It. She had a flash thought that she should start a business for herself which was to open a Tearoom and Candy Shop.
The idea seemed staggering at first, but it persisted, so she boldly went forth, found a suitable shop and hired assistants. She spoke the word for supply since she didn’t have money to back her new enterprise. The money came in miraculous ways, and the shop opened on schedule!
From the first day it was filled with happy customers; they even had to line up and wait for seats.
One day that was a holiday, her assistants gloomily said that business probably wouldn’t be very good that day. However, the shop owner replied that God was her supply and every day was a good day.
In the afternoon an old friend came to see her shop and bought a two pound box of candy. He gave her a check and when she looked at it, she saw that is was for $100! So it was a good day! Imagine! $100 for a box of candy was quite a sum in those days.
This shopkeeper said that every morning she enters her shop with wonder and gives thanks that she has the fearless faith that wins!
2011 will be pretty much as you expect it to be. To make it is as happy and successful, pray and meditate regularly on Success ideas, take God as your active Partner through regular prayer and meditation, open your mind to success ideas and put them to work. Faith plus imagination, plus love, plus enthusiasm, plus positive action work wonders. Expect something wonderful to happen, and it will! – Lovingly, Rev. John

I’ve never sought success in order to get fame and money; it’s the talent and the passion that count in success. – Ingrid Bergman
To be successful, you have to have your heart in your business and your business in your heart. – Thomas Watson, Sr.
A Little Humor. . .
Explaining luggage regulations to passengers can be aggravating for flight attendants. One day a woman tried to board with an enormous bag. The lead flight attendant told her why it would not fit, but the woman argued that her bag was a carry-on because it had wheels and a handle. Without blinking the attendant said, “My Honda has wheels and a handle, but that doesn’t make it a carry-on.” – Analyse Davis
