Make a Few Little Changes
YOU CAN create a very happy new year by making a few changes in daily habits. If doing some of them seem rather daunting, do them for one week and then follow with another week.
About three years ago, I stopped watching the so-called “news.” I decided to use my time in higher, more pleasant ways. It’s been a very rewarding experience. You can do the same.
Do not watch TV news, read a newspaper or listen to radio news. Listen within. What is going on within you is far more important and uplifting. Do this for one week and you’ll realize how pleasant it is and that you haven’t really missed anything.
Give more time to prayer and meditation. Allow yourself to be still and listen to the “inner voice.” It always has something higher, better and peaceful to share with you. It is stress-free, too!
Focus on the Presence of God within and all around you. This powerful Presence is always peaceful. It’s actually much more enlightening and reliable, too! No hypes. Nothing fake. Totally and completely right and uplifting!
Refrain from engaging in negative talk. This means to not talk about apparent aches, pains or anything that might cause stress.
<pTurn The Golden Key! Instead of giving attention to negative things, allow your focus to be on the Presence of God within you. It is every where present, so as Unity teaches, it is the only Presence and the only Power in the Universe, is absolute good, and constantly moving in and through you, as you.
What you think about, comes about. Think on Good and the Good in your life will multiply.
By faithfully doing these things, you will create a very happy 2020, and a happier and more wonderful life for yourself. It is nothing less than divine love at work – Lovingly, Rev. John
Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable —
if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think on these things. – Philippians 4:8

Golden Keys to Answered Prayer …
The beginning of the New Year is a good time to upgrade your prayer practice. If you’ve been in the habit of timidly asking God for what you want, consider changing that approach to affirming that you now have it. The Golden Key/Unity way to pray is to confidently affirm and gratefully accept that the desires of your heart are yours now. Jesus taught that we should not judge by appearances. This means to look beyond apparent lack and see with faith that your desires are at hand. Allow yourself to feel the joy of already having them. Focus on that joy as your greater good mystically and easily manifests for you. Relax and be at peace.
