Welcome to 2012! Now is the starting point for creating the kind of life you really desire this year. Whatever you decide, it will be. That is why it is important to make decisions, set some goals, and your course of action. Ask God to guide you and He will.
We all have a responsibility to make 2012 the best for ourselves and everyone. What we do now affects what we experience later.
Now is the time you were going to do those things you said you’d do “after the first of the year.” We’ve just gotten started, but how are you doing, so far? Have you set your goals and made plans for achieving them? Have you written your Letter to God? (You should have received instructions for this. If not, ask, and it will be sent.) Writing your Letter to God is an excellent exercise because it sets your mind in the direction you want to go in the New Year and calls forth great Universal power for achieving your desires.
Instead of making “New Year’s Resolutions,” set definite goals which you write down. These are your intentions for this year.
With present day challenges, 2012 calls for more creativity. As good and wonderful as computers and the Internet are, they can’t do everything for you. Use your God-given creative power for bringing forth the divine ideas God wants you to develop.
Place your faith securely in God by putting Him first in everything. Before you decide on a goal or a direction to follow, be still and open your mind to God’s infinite wisdom. God knows what is highest and best for you. Then let God guide you as you proceed. Let Him do everything through you. As you do, everything will be easier and your success will be assured.
Another essential for having a truly Happy New Year is to be genuinely grateful for everything. A good declaration to frequently make is: Thank You, God, for Answered Prayer!
Remember: We are all here on Mother Earth to be about our Father’s business. What is His business? It is being divinely creative, positively alive, living life lovingly, and helping others do the same. Now move on into your wonderfully happy, really good New Year!

Bytes of Wisdom …
The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, they make them. – George Bernard ShawEvery experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see. – Corrie Ten Boom
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. – Oliver Wendell Holmes
Real joy comes not from ease or riches or from praise from others, but from doing something worthwhile.
A Little Humor …
On the first day of Hebrew school the teacher finished the lessons and asked for questions.”I’ve got one,” said a boy. “According to the Bible, the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea, right?”That’s right, said the teacher.
“And the children of Israel defeated the Philistines and the Egyptians, and they built the Temple, and they were always doing something important, right?”
“All of that is correct,” agreed the instructor. “So, what’s the question?”
“Well,” demanded the boy, “what were the grownups doing?” – Clarence Krajenke
