Many people long to be free.They suffer from various kinds of bondage to things such as illness, unhappy marriage or other relationships, financial lack and limitation. It is interesting to note that while some people say they would like to be free, not everyone is willing to do what is required to actually be free.
Years ago, I longed to be free from unhappy circumstances. It was not until I discovered Unity that I began to enjoy the freedom I desired. I learned that to be free, a change in thinking was required, but it was not just a one-time thing, but ongoing. Fortunately, I was guided to do the work and it made all the difference in the world.
It is unhealthy, mentally and physically, to live in an unhappy environment. God never means for any of His children to be in bondage to anything. His will is for you and everyone to be free; free to enjoy the peace, good health, happiness and prosperity He has created you for, and to have it abundantly.
Fortunately, there is a way out, to be free. The first step is to pray in faith, knowing you are being guided and have the courage to do what is necessary. The next step is to take action. This means to do whatever is required, regardless of how difficult it may appear. Being free from some undesirable circumstance requires learning, growing, and evolving. Freedom often doesn’t come suddenly, but gradually. As you take the right steps and continue one-day-at-a-time you begin to live life as God intends – happy, healthy, lovingly, peaceful, prosperous, and free.

Golden Keys to Answered Prayers …
Jesus said that when you pray, go within and having closed the door, pray to the Father in secret. In other words, you are wise to “travel light” and not take worldly baggage with you when you pray. It is not necessary to tell God all about your challenges and troubles, or even about the good you desire. God in His infinite intelligence already knows all He needs to know about you and your concerns.
God is infinite wisdom and divine love, always everywhere present. God is within you as you. When you pray, believe this is so. Prayers are more easily answered through the quiet, peaceful, loving and receptive mind. So when you pray, “be still and know that I am God.” Graciously and gratefully accept your oneness with God, therefore the divine answer to your prayer is already yours. Act as if. Act as though your prayers are already answered. In Truth, they are!
In the Mail …
Good morning, Rev. John. Thank you for all the Good you do with your Good Works! You are a treasure on earth and in heaven. I used Emmet Fox’s Divine Love Prayer for the 30 days and plan to begin once again on June 1. I prayed as you suggested, not for something, but just being in a state of Being All Good.
I made note of several Blessings that occurred during that time, with the most notable one being the gift of a 7-day vacation to northern California on the ocean for nine family members. I’m a great grandmother, and my youngest great grandson is 4. I am so grateful for this vacation trip which is a wonderful expression of Spirit appearing in our lives. Thanks once again! – J. R.

The Bernalillo County, New Mexico, sheriff’s department reported that a single-vehicle accident occurred when a motorist removed his key from the ignition which he was driving.
