L. I. T. A.
By Rev. John Adams
Whatever the Question, Love is The Answer. This is always true. All that is, is God, and God is Love.
The imperative thing for life, health, prosperity, freedom and peace, is Love. Love is life. Love is light. Love is all there is. When we love enough, we see correctly with illumined consciousness and vision. Love is so good it is virtually incomprehensible, yet we can know, feel and be love.
Emmet Fox wrote, Love is by far the most important thing of all. He was pointing out that our focus should be more on Love than anything else. the love he spoke of is Divine Love, the love that God is.
Love runs as a mighty stream of perfection through your mind and body. Whatever you do, the best thing is to step into this powerful stream and bathe in its infinite goodness. Love is the energy of the universe. The universe is no just “out there,” it is within you, and all around you. Therefore, Love is within you, around you, and as you.
The golden key is in focusing your attention upon love. Love is the golden answer to every question, and to everything. Love is life and what you are!
– Lovingly, Rev. John
And now faith, hope and love abide, these three, and the greatest of these is love. – Corinthians 13:13

Armed for Battle or Open to Love
By Rev. Tina Brown
How do we presence the power of Love during the challenges of life, in the face of our enemies? God is ready to bring forth your highest good through the power of Love. We achieve this by being the authentic self that God created us to be. By facing those things that stand in our way and loving oneself and others into wholeness. Love is the Power that changes everything.
In the story of David and Goliath, we see that David is a young Shepard boy and was sent to the battlefield to take bread to his brothers. When he arrived, he heard Goliath taunting the soldiers and volunteered to be the one to meet the challenge of the giant. Goliath represents those scary and overwhelming times in life that we hesitate to come face to face with, those times that we retreat and try to protect ourselves from the outside world for fear that it may harm or destroy us.
Like David, Love is always anxious to diffuse challenges and dissolve the fear, harmonizing the mind games that we play with ourselves, as well as one another. Unconditional Love has the power and capacity to accept our differences, overcome fear, move through the boundaries of separation that we create in our humanity and expand our consciousness to embrace all of who we are and our relationship with one another.
It’s interesting to me how when David was taken to King Saul and had convinced Saul to let him fight Goliath, that Saul put his personal armor and bronze helmet on David and gave him his sword. But remember that David was just a young Shepard boy. When he tried walking around in it, he couldn’t move freely. He removed it before he went to face the giant. Saul represents the personal will that rules our life.
How often do we allow our mind to suit us up in armor to protect us from the outer world and the challenges we face in our lives? Does it really protect us? I do believe there are times that we need protecting and it can serve a purpose. But unlike David, most of us wouldn’t think of removing the armor and putting ourselves at risk. We instead keep the armor on and try to function in our daily lives wearing it everywhere we go. Soon, we get used to it, even though it is heavy, burdensome and requires a great deal of energy to carry around. It eventually becomes a part of who we think we are.
SCRIPTURE: Romans 12:2, Paul said, “Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that you may discern what is the Will of God-what is acceptable and perfect.”
We renew ourselves through self-observation, being willing to look at oneself, and using the practice of denials and affirmations to cleanse the mind and body of negative thought patterns and beliefs. We do this by being willing to face those things that we call enemies and re-naming them, as Myrtle Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, teaches in the book, “New Ways to Solve Old Problems.” We turn our negative thought patterns and the very names that we have given to conditions in our life into the positive outcome we desire. For instance, we rename negativity as no longer having power over us, sickness to life affirming words of health, broken and down trodden to whole and complete, and lack into abundance.
Do you have a Goliath in your life, taunting, challenging and threatening your well-being? Are you facing the challenge suited up with your armor and personal will or meeting it face to face with the power of Love, the truth of who you are? I invite you to “LOVE YOURSELF” enough to remove the armor and go forth freely, embracing the truth of who you are and allow the Will of God to unfold within you. Dare to be brave enough to face your Goliath. Touch with Love, that which you once touched with Fear. Open yourself, mind, body and spirit, to your Divine Healing and move through life Freely. God Bless You! – Lovingly, Rev. Tina

A Little Humor …
Junior fully expected a long wait for his food when his father asked the minister to say grace at the table. To his surprise, the prayer was brief. Looking up at the guest, Junior said approvingly, “You don’t pray so long when you’re hungry, do you.”
