Roll Away that Stone!
Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ when the stone was rolled away from the tomb in which He had been placed. He appeared alive to Mary who recognized Him and remembered that He did what He had said He would.
Jesus came to reveal to humankind, the Truth that life is eternal and that we all have the ability to do as He did. He demonstrated that no tomb could hold him. No one knows who rolled away the stone blocking the opening of the tomb, or how it was moved, except a couple of Angels. Given Jesus’ practice of the Presence of God, it is not surprising that it happened.
We all have the power and ability to roll away the “stones” that keep us bound, and to be resurrected into a new life of freedom, health, peace and abundant good. Martha Smock, a long-time Unity minister and writer, told of a man who revealed to her, his personal resurrection. After years of experiencing poor health, financial lack and limitation, though ultimately knowing the Truth for himself, the stone of that “tomb” was rolled away and he was now living “the life more abundant” which he learned was his by divine right as a child of the Infinite.
Jesus did not talk about impossibilities or obstructions. He talked about possibilities and assured everyone that a new life of joy, peace, good health and prosperity was available to all of us. The Golden Key is in changing our thinking; to no longer dwell on negatives such as fear, lack and limitation, but to lift up our thinking and see the possibilities of living full and happy lives.
Resurrection is preceded by a lift in consciousness. This means to rise in thought, into the light of Truth and when that happens, we know the Truth and we are free – free to live happier, healthier, wealthier, and peaceful lives. If it were any different, I am sure He would have said so. Your real resurrecting power is love. Let love flow and you are truly in the flow of life – the life more abundant!

Golden Keys to Answered Prayer …
It is more effective to practice the Presence of God in prayer than to think about apparent problems or difficulties. God doesn’t really need to hear about those. God knows all about you, the most important is that you are His beloved child whom He cares about, and knows only as a perfect spiritual being. The Truth is, God is the only Presence and the only Power, the true essence of your whole being. You are wise to remind yourself of this often, act as though you believe it, and be at peace. This action is practicing the Presence of God, which is healing, restoring divine energy.
