Your Miracle Power of Acceptance!
In the June Newsletter, we discussed The Prodigal Son and the miracle power of return. Miracles happen when you return in consciousness to the presence of God. God is always waiting, as-it-were, to pour out His abundance upon you.
A lot attention is placed on the Prodigal Son, however, the older brother is just as important. When he learned that his brother had returned and there was a big party in which he was highly honored, the older brother was very unhappy. He complained to his father that while he stayed home, worked hard, and paid attention to his obligations, his brother had gone away and spent his fortune. He said it was totally unfair that his brother would be treated so grandly while he stayed home and received very little.
But the father looked upon him with great compassion and said, “All that is mine, is yours.”
Sometimes a person may be very religious, doing all the outer things that he figures are necessary, but without having a real connection with God. He may believe that if he is faithful, he will be rewarded later on, if not in this life, then after he dies.
The elder brother, although he was close to his father, erroneously believed that he had to work hard for what was his by divine right. When he complained to his father, he broke another spiritual law. Complaining always stops the flow of God’s goodness.
The truth is, God never withholds anything from anyone. All that God is, is always at hand and available t0 everyone. It doesn’t matter to God how “religious” someone is. The golden key is in keeping closely attuned to God in consciousness, knowing that all that God is, is yours now, and gratefully accepting the vast good God has for you.
Acceptance is mighty miracle-working power. It is not enough to just be aware of God and His abundant good, but to know that it is yours as the deserving child of God. Joyfully claim and accept it as yours now. In doing so, you open the way for miracles to happen to you! – Lovingly, Rev. John
Open my eyes, so that I may behold wonderous things out of your law.
– Psalms 118:18

Golden Keys to Answered Prayer …
When you pray, accept that always right where you are, God is. Therefore, whatever you ask in prayer is at hand, closer than breathing, nearer than hands and feet. That is really close! It is God’s good pleasure to give you His treasure and does so in marvelous measure. Your part is to gratefully claim and accept that all that the Father has, is yours, now. When you do, seeming miracles happen! It is nothing less than Divine Love at work in you.

A Little Humor …
One day, when Jesus went out on the golf course, He hit the ball and it landed on the green, but several feet from the hole. As he addressed the ball, he closed His eyes for a few moments as though He was looking up. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning came down, hit the ball, and it rolled into the hole. That is when Jesus said, “Please Father, I’d rather do this myself!”
