Golden Keys to Positive Living
In my many years of helping people through prayer and counsel, I have learned that some people are very good at sending mixed signals to their subconscious minds. As you know, our subconscious minds accept whatever we convince them of and tend to delivery that into our lives. That is why it is imperative that we watch our thinking.
Sometimes, someone will do a pretty good job of affirming Truth for themselves, but at the same time, even unconsciously, declare something that negates the Truth. For instance, you might diligently declare: “I am healthy, happy and whole,” but rather quietly give in to words or feelings of being ill, unhappy and incomplete. The secret to successful affirmation is to declare that which is true with belief, feeling and acceptance. Then be done with it. In other words, send clear signals to your subconscious mind.
Another thing is that sometimes a person will affirm and accept they are now a rich and prosperous child of God, but rather quietly affirm that they are struggling to have enough money to pay bills. This sends mixed signals to your subconscious mind.
Scripture says that you cannot serve God and Mammon. This means that you cannot have pure God-thoughts and entertain error-thinking at the same time. Mammon represents anything less than God. God is pure Life, Love, Wisdom, Substance and Absolute, Perfect Good. If you declare positive, prospering statements, but also entertain any thoughts or feelings of doubt or “not enough,” you are trying to serve two masters. Give your devotion to one or the other. You know which One is best.
Your golden key is in listening to your words. Make sure they resonate with Truth.
Lovingly, Rev. John
Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt …
even if you say to this mountain,
“be lifted up and thrown into the sea,”
it will be done. – Matthew 21:21

Golden Keys to Answered Prayers…
When you ask someone to prayer with you, it is important that you do your own work in prayer. This is better and more powerful than to just ask someone to pray “for” you. When two or more are gathered together in prayer, there is polarity. This serves to magnify the spiritual energy that constantly flows in and through you and your prayer partner.

Stopping at a restroom at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, I pause to read the graffiti. One item, written in very tiny letters, was positioned forward on the left wall of the stall. When I leaned forward, I could just make it out. It read: “You are now at a 45-degree angle!”
