I love Christmas! It didn’t use to be that way, but over the years I have come to really appreciate the beautiful lights and decorations. I even like to visit a mall or two and look at the all the tree and light displays, and especially drive around and look at home displays. People seem to be kinder and more helpful at this time of year, too. Even if one does not celebrate Christmas, it cannot be denied that this is a special time of year like no other.
There is a lot of so-called commercialism, but if it weren’t for the stores and malls, there would not be the beautiful lights and festiveness.
With everything else that happens at Christmas time, it is important to relax and enjoy the season. Instead of just hurrying around trying to get everything done, first take time to be still and meditate for a few minutes and remember why we celebrate Christmas. Quiet your mind enough so that you become attuned to the presence of God within. Invite the Christ Light to fill your whole being so that it may radiate more strongly to other people.
After you have done this, then you are ready to proceed and your plans will unfold and what’s really important will get done. Practice the presence of God as you go. This means to be at peace within yourself, to feel the great love energy that God is and let it move you in its own way of peace, joy, light and love. In other words, lighten up, be the Light and enjoy the season! When Christmas day arrives you will be relaxed and lifted up. This is true preparation for Christmas. – Lovingly, Rev. John

A Little Humor. . .
I was in the office working furiously on next year’s budget, sending figures to my immediate supervisor who would then relay the numbers to a senior vice president in corporate headquarters. While I was typing frantically on my computer spreadsheet, my secretary interrupted and said the “big boss” was on the phone. I took a deep breath and answered, “Hello, sir.” “You don’t have to call me that,” my wife replied on the other end. “But it sure sounds good!” – Glenn Dembroff

Prayer brings job! – I got a job, and started today! It has good pay, enough for me to take care of myself and my two children, and it is only 15 minutes from my home. Thank you very much! The day I read your email, regarding my prayer request, I received 4 phone calls for different jobs! Thank you for supporting me in prayer. Much Love to you. – D. D.
