How to Find Your Life Purpose
You are designed for happy, successful, worth-while, satisfying living. Like everyone else, you can set for yourself a purpose that is big enough to call forth the talents and abilities that are within you. Your talents and abilities are gifts of God to you, but you must choose the purpose in which you invest them.
A young man decided that his purpose in life was to be a doctor. Unlike his companions in school, who were undecided whether to become engineers, professional football players, or actors, the doctor-to-be found it quite easy to outline his schedule of studies. He merely picked subjects which fitted in with his purpose.
When I decided to go into the Unity ministry, I discovered this to be true. Although there were challenges, whatever I needed was attracted to me. People came to help and I received guidance and inspiration for fulfilling my purpose. That was over 45 years ago and I am still doing the same thing. I love my work because I love to help and inspire people.
Here is an exercise to help you realize and get focused on your life purpose: Take a piece of paper and a pen or pencil and write these words: “My purpose in life is . . . . ” Then in a sentence or two try to state clearly what your purpose in life is.
Be honest with yourself. Life cannot be fooled, and you do not want to fool yourself. If your life purpose has not been revealed to you, open your mind to Infinite Intelligence within you. Quietly ask. If you sincerely do this, your life purpose will be revealed to you. It may come in a hunch, as a gnawing feeling, or very clear guidance. But it will come when you are truly open and receptive and sincerely want to know.
If finding the purpose for your whole life seems beyond reason now, take a segment of it. What is your purpose for the next hour? Write that down. “My purpose for the next hour of my life is . . . ” Do not rush. Keep at it until it is definitely revealed to you. By persisting in this way, your purpose in life for a day, week, month, year and beyond will be revealed to you. Remember to listen to Creative Intelligence within you. It is all-knowing and loves to give you your heart’s desires. – Lovingly, Rev. John (Adapted from Living With Purpose by J. Sig Paulson)

The Healing Word
Science has slowly but surely proven false all our ideas and beliefs abut old age, the three score and ten length of life, the necessity of growing old and feeble. We grow old or sick or feeble for no other reason than we believe in old age and sickness. – Venice Bloodworth
The Prospering Word
Prosperity is always for you. Think on this. Believe it is true, because it is. Never allow yourself to feel unworthy. Remove all thought of yourself a “meant to do without.” Think prosperity. Talk prosperity. Think and talk prosperity specifically pertaining to you. Make it personal. Accept that you deserve the abundance of good that God really wants you to have. Gratefully give thanks that it is yours now. – From my book, The Secret of Multiplied Money, now available in print, e and kindle formats.

A Little Humor. . .
There’s a knock at the front door. A man opens it and looks down to find a snail sitting on the stoop. He picks it up the little critter and throws it as far as he can.
Three years later, there’s a knock. The man opens the door, looks down, and there sits the same snail.
The snail looks up and says, “What on earth was that all about?” – Drew Carey
