Easy Does It!
By Rev. John W. Adams
Resolve to take the easy approach in the New Year. You have probably seen one of the Easy does bumper stickers. Easy does it is a good idea, especially when faced with any kind of stressful situation. Taking it easy means that you do not try to force an outcome or make something happen. Let go of worry thoughts and let the inner negative chatter die down so that you can become focused on the best possible outcome, the most creative ideas, and the best action. These only come through the quiet, untroubled mind.
If you are trying to quit a negative habit or to begin a positive one, you know that easy does it is the best course to follow. It is in the quietness of the easy atmosphere that you receive divine nudges in the right direction. You may even receive whispers of divine ideas that can totally change your life. Trying hard is a habit, and rarely produces worthwhile results. Letting go and letting God is always better.
In the quiet of prayer, get in touch with the Christ of your being, the very presence of God in you. It says to you, “Do it easy, for I am always with you.” Thus, you have the divine assurance that God is working in and through you, doing what God does best. God is the Big Easy. God never struggles; never fears; never stresses over anything. Since that is good enough for God, it should be good enough for you! Be still and know that I am God, is very good advice.
Make a decision that any time in the New Year, if you begin to worry or try hard to accomplish something, you will relax, let go, and let God. That is the easy approach that is always the best and brings the most desirable results. Easy does it, so let Easy do it! – Lovingly, Rev. John
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you. – Psalm 32:8

NEW YEAR – NEW YOU!
By Rev. Tina Brown
We all love to see miraculous changes in life. The underdog team that forges ahead to become the champion team, life-saving miracles, the addicted succeeding in recovery, the spiritual seeker of truth gaining insight and wisdom on their path to enlightenment. We all love the ending of a miraculous transformation.
To change and transform one’s life, we must believe that it is possible, we must hold fast to our faith and hope. Most of us have found ourselves in a place where we are about to lose something of value or perhaps everything and want to give up. When you are filled with doubt and disbelief, God’s miracle for you is temporarily blocked until you put your complete trust in Him and act accordingly.
When you have a positive mind set, expecting good things to happen, expecting your miracle, God can turn things around in an instant. Your entire life can change in a single moment!
“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” – 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
Jesus taught that we could do the things he has done, and even greater things. When we join in that same belief; the same consciousness, we will have a new and wonderfully transformed life of change and miracles.
I want to encourage you to never give up on those things and people in your life! Success requires persistence and faith! Sometimes it takes trying new ways and new attempts to finally get to the thing that works. It all begins with making the choice to continue and to let go of your fear from past failures. Believe it can be done, move ahead, try something new, be patient, forgive more! God is always good to complete in us what He has started.
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” – Philippians 1:6
In other words, regardless of appearances, stand strong in your belief and faith that God’s Divine Intelligence, is what has set you on your path and will take you through to the success and happiness. God will make a way and get you there. God is your help in every need. Trust, believe and have faith.
When you decide to not give up and trust God, you make the way for greater things to happen for you, in you and through you! Remember, the choice is up to you! God will make all things new and if you don’t give up, in due time, you will be richly rewarded and experience transformation in your life.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind!” Believe it and you can achieve it!
Make 2018 the year that you commit to the New You! – Lovingly, Rev. Tina Brown

We all carry it with us: supreme strength, the fullness of wisdom, unquenchable joy. It is never thwarted and cannot be destroyed. – Huston SmithFeel you are successful and prosperous, since the feeling of wealth produces wealth. – Joseph MurphyRivers hardly run in straight lines. Rivers are willing to take ten thousand meanders and enjoy every one and grow from every one. – James Dillet FreemanLooking for someone? Don’t go for looks’ they can deceive.
