Turn the Golden Key
By Rev. John W. Adams
Right after Christmas, we extended an invitation to you. We invited you to join with us and friends all over Mother Earth in making it a daily practice to Turn the Golden Key: Turn away from seeming problems and turn to God. That is the best way to have a truly happy year.
You are encouraged to Golden Key everything, especially challenges. It is unproductive to worry about anything because it is focusing the great power of your thought and feeling on fear. Understandably, when there is some challenging issue, it tends to cause concern. While it never good to ignore challenges, it doesn’t require you to constantly go over them in your mind and to feel fearful about them. This sends the wrong message to the Universe, which picks up on your every thought and feeling.
It is not necessary to keep telling the Universe about seeming problems. That, too, sends the wrong message because what you think about tends to come about. In other words, when you think about a problem or challenge, the Universe thinks that is what you want. The way to change worry is to turn the Golden Key.
Emmet Fox, who originated The Golden Key, said to STOP thinking about the problem and think about God, instead. He said to do this by rehearsing all you know God to be, i.e. God is Love, God is Wisdom, God is Faith, God is Good, God is Life, and so on.
Now, at the beginning of this new year, is an excellent time to create a new habit of turning the Golden Key. I suggest that you do this for one day. Refuse to give any thought, worry, or negative feeling to any seeming problem and allow your focus to be completely on God. After the one day, do it again on the next day, and keep on one-day-at-a-time.
God is Love – Divine Love. Divine Love is the ultimate energy of the Universe. An excellent way to create a happy year for yourself is to speak the following prayer. Do this every day for at least a week. Repeat as needed. Your focus on Divine Love will create a happy life for you.
I breathe in Divine Love and it fills my mind and my whole being with Peace, Love, Joy, and Abundance. I am a radiating center of Divine Love now irresistibly attracting to me all that is needed to make me happy and my life fulfilled.
Allow yourself to feel the joy of this Truth. Repeat this exercise whenever a problem tries to get your attention. Do this daily and you will experience a very happy year. – Lovingly, Rev. John

What’s Troubling You?

Is something keeping you awake at night? You are not alone. I remember experiencing a problem with a co-worker, who began to shun me at work, and her behavior escalated into trying to bully me. I was frustrated and felt I had nowhere to turn to gain relief.
It was then that I remembered to turn the Golden Key and I was guided to leave my job. Jesus said in Matthew 10:13-14, “If the home is worthy, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet and leave that place.” This means to shake off the negativity of the experience and leave. If peace is not to be found where you presently are, leave and go to a place where you are appreciated and loved. Happily, I was guided into working where I was loved.
Maybe you have experienced a situation where you felt like you had nowhere to turn for a solution. If so, remember to turn the Golden Key. Instead of thinking about the problem, think about the presence and power of God.
When you consciously invoke the presence of God, it changes everything in you at that very moment. It unifies your mind and heart with the Divine, and opens you to receive guidance, insights, answers and direction. In reality, you have God (Good) instead of the problem.
The more you become experienced in turning things over to God, the more you will experience inner peace and the ability to move through life with ease and grace. The Golden Key is prayer, and in prayer, it is God Who not only provides the solution, He IS the solution! Apparent limitations or weaknesses are of no account in the process.
Your only action is to get out of God’s way. You do this when you stop giving power to a trouble and give it only to God. It’s then that you connect to the Answer that heals whatever may be troubling you. God is the Answer! Stay blessed my friend. – With Love, Rev. Cherie Larkin

Golden Keys to Answered Prayer …
You are wise to empty your mind of fear, doubt, worry and other negatives when you pray. If these emotions seem to have you in their grip, sit very comfortably in a quiet place by yourself. Breathe deeply three times and as you do, softly declare: I now relax, let go and let God. Gently, but securely, focus your thinking on the Presence of God as infinite love and peace. Feel His Presence. With practice it gets easier. Prayer Requests
In the Mail …
Releasing Tithe Brings Blessing! – For three months I had been expecting to receive a certain check for $145.00. Even though I called several times and was told they were working on it, the check didn’t come. Then, I remembered to release my tithe from some ‘unexpected’ income I’d received. Three days later, I received the check in the mail. I’ve learned my lesson. Enclosed is my tithe check plus a Thank-Offering for my Christmas prayer request. Thank you for praying with me. – From: California
Bytes of Wisdom …
Humor is laughing at what you haven’t got when you ought to have it. – Langston Hughes
To learn how to think is to learn how to live for our thoughts go into a medium that is infinite in its ability to do and to be. Never settle for less than your dreams. Somewhere, sometime, someday, somehow, you’ll find them. – Danielle Steele
Nothing is more natural than love. If you act lovingly, you will be acting naturally. If you react fearfully, resentfully, angrily, you may be acting normally, but you will never act naturally. – Neale Donald Walsh
A Little Humor …
Sociologists say that going to the movies is a bonding experience. It may have something to do with the way your shoes stick to the floor. – Robert Orben
