Have great expectations of good.
Expect only good, you draw it to you. This year is a good year to try this out.
Since you may not have a crystal ball, it is difficult to actually see what the New Year will bring, however, since God is just as much in the New Year as the old, you may expect only good. By expecting only good, you draw it to you. 2011 is a good year to have great expectations of good.
At this time, many people consider making New Year’s Resolutions in an effort to make some desired changes in their lives. As good as this may seem, unfortunately, most New Year’s Resolutions fade away and are forgotten rather quickly. It is better to set definite goals or intentions for the New Year, to write them down on paper, and make a commitment to achieving them.
If 2010 was not the best of years for you, release it in love and open your mind to greater things. Name last year a great success in that you successfully made it through and you are now poised and ready for wonderful new experiences.
The New Year will be very much like what you expect it to be. Expect it to be very good. Plan on it. Write your goals, make your plans, and take God as your Partner and 2011 will be a wonderful year for you. Universal Substance which you are constantly breathing into your being is alive with prospering ideas. Open your mind to new ideas and put them to work. That is what a housewife did. She was seeking a way to earn a little extra money while staying at home with her children.
She declared over and over: God is now guiding me to the right prosperity. He is prospering me now in all that I think and do.
Before long this lady was introduced to a work-at-home business opportunity. After research to make sure it was sound, she added the following affirmations: Divine Love and Wisdom in me now draw to me the right people for outstanding success and prosperity. I am grateful this is so now.
Taking God as her Partner through tithing, she declared: I faithfully give my tenth to God. I am tithing and thriving!
Starting slowly, her business soon began to grow. People came to her and being favorably impressed, they enthusiastically joined her new prosperity adventure and they all began to prosper in wonderful ways. This woman eventually realized that what she had hoped would be at least a little more prospering was now producing many times her original expectations. And, it was doing so easily.
What will the New Year bring to you? What is it you desire to have, do, or be? Prayerfully allow yourself to be guided. Speak positive prayers such as those above, expect good things to happen, have faith in God to guide you in all your ways. What will the New Year bring? God has infinite rich blessings awaiting your claim and acceptance. Make 2011 your year for abundantly good health, life, love, peace and prosperity. – Lovingly, Rev. John

A Little Humor. . .
Explaining luggage regulations to passengers can be aggravating for flight attendants. One day a woman tried to board with an enormous bag. The lead flight attendant told her why it would not fit, but the woman argued that her bag was a carry-on because it had wheels and a handle. Without blinking the attendant said, “My Honda has wheels and a handle, but that doesn’t make it a carry-on.” – Analyse Davis
