The things I do, you can do, and greater things
– By Rev. John W. Adams
Over two thousand years ago, Jesus gave the world a dynamic demonstration of the Success Power of Easter. He proved that everyone can rise above very limiting conditions and adverse circumstances. Even though He had been crucified and placed in tomb with a big rock blocking the opening, He emerged alive in three days, just as He said He would. What a powerful success demonstration He gave to all of us!
Prior to that, He made a profound statement of Truth that applies to everyone. He said, “The things I do, you can do, and greater things.” In making such a declaration, He gave us all the assurance that we have the same Easter Success Power as Himself.
Now, we have different scenarios, but people are still getting themselves nailed to crosses, as-it-were, either by themselves or allowing others to do it to them. Some people are still being confined to very limiting (self-imposed) tomb-like beliefs and conditions from which there may appear to be no escape.
The good news is that Jesus presented us with a very convincing demonstration of the reality of life, and our innate ability to overcome limiting conditions and experience happiness and freedom.
The key is in doing as Jesus did. He always “went to the Father,” in that He practiced the presence of God. Jesus was one of the first to Golden Key any challenging undesirable situation. Rather than staying focused on the problem, He kept His mind stayed on God. That was His Success Power, just as it is yours.
“When you say, ‘There is no way out of my difficulties’, what can that possibly mean except that you cannot see a way out? When you say, ‘It is too late now,’ what can that mean except that it is too late for you.”
Emmet Fox
In truth, nothing is ever too big, or too late for God. Emmet Fox is saying that when we doubt God, we are not only limiting Him, in our thinking, but are limiting ourselves. In doing so, we inhibit the success power of God and stay stuck in limiting circumstances. To be free is to do as Jesus did, practice the presence of God instead of limiting beliefs. Jesus tuned in to and allowed His innate God-power to move in and through Him. He said that we are to do the same. When we do, we allow our great Easter Success Power to move in and through us and create wonderful life-experiences for ourselves. It’s a great way to turn the Golden Key! The Chalice of Love
– By Rev. Tina Brown
Drinking from the beautiful chalice of knowledge is better than adorning oneself with gold and rare gems. – Proverbs 20:15
Quench the thirsting of the soul with the power of God’s Love. Establishing an intimate relationship with the Divine presence of Love…God, is of utmost importance for our spiritual growth and development. Extending that Love to one another, creates an exchange that causes our “cup to runneth over”.
Is your cup running over? We are the Chalice…we are to fill the Chalice with drink that will quench the thirst of life. What is this drink that we are to contain? The Power of Love…the Power of God….the Life of Christ.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not knows not God; for God is love. -1 John 4:7-8. The Chalice is a symbol of what we are to take into our being and express.
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine burst the skins and will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. – Luke 5:37-38
Historically, Near Easterners stored their wine in goatskins. New wine means, newly squeezed wine, usually less than two weeks old. When new wine was put into the goatskins it would continue to ferment. If the skins were old, the fermentation process could stretch the skins too much causing them to burst. New wine was stored and transported in new skins because they resisted the effects of fermentation and both wine and skins are preserved. When a family was short of new skins, the new wine was carried in old skins at great risk.
Old wineskins represent our old ways of thinking; our old states of consciousness. At times, like the constricting wineskins–we can become limited and inflexible. The new wineskins are our new awareness of our evolving states of consciousness. As the wineskins expand with new, freshly harvested wine, so do fresh ideas expand our imagination and our beliefs.
It is important that we release limited beliefs and attitudes in order to seek a greater understanding of our connection to the Christ nature. We do this through denials and affirmations; study and increased knowledge; prayer and meditation, which opens our minds to the deeper realizations of our true nature, strengthening our willingness to release that which no longer serves us. In order to avoid bursting wineskins–it is important for us to gain understanding, have faith and be able to discern what we need to let go of. Forgiveness is also essential in the process of letting go.
Once we are able to do this, it’s time to be the Chalice of Love in expression. We are to be filled with love that we may pass along the gift of life and love to one another. We are to help each other, pray with one another, and support one another through life’s difficulties. We are called to love each other.
What is the Chalice of Love? You are. What is the drink the Chalice contains? The indwelling Spirit of Christ in you, your Hope of Glory. What is your chalice filled with today? Are you trying to put new wine, life, in an old wineskin? Take time to renew and let go of what needs to be let go of through the power and practice of prayer and forgiveness.
We are the Chalice…we are to fill the Chalice with drink that will quench the thirst of life. The Chalice of Love is symbolic of who we are to be. Love expressing in the world. Lovingly, Rev. Tina Brown

Golden Keys to Answered Prayer …
When you pray, to do so effectively, release all thought of any seeming problem, and place your whole attention on the Presence of God within you. It is not effective, or necessary, to tell God all about your difficulties. He really isn’t interested in them. God is infinite love and wisdom and knows only to provide for you, and does so when you clear your consciousness of things that are not of God. In faith, pray and know that with God, ALL things are possible. And, that God’s infinite love is providing you with all that you need for happy, successful living.

On a long journey, the very thirsty Sirs Lancelot and Galahad stopped at a roadside lemonade stand. The owner served Galahad but refused to serve Lancelot a glass. “What’s the problem?” demanded Lancelot. “Sorry,” the owner replied. “This is just a one-knight stand.” – Larry Roberg Remember to invite your friends to ask for our Newsletters.
