How’s Your Attitude?
Regardless of how challenging things may seem, you can prosper. Even if you are verging on being “down and out,” you can prosper. The key is to get your vision off the seeming financial difficulties and on to God, the source of your rich supply. Granted, this may not always be easy to do, but with determination and faith, you can do it.
If you desire for a greater level of prosperity, you can achieve that with the same attitude. I’ve been there so I know it is possible.
One time a young businessman came to talk with me about the financial challenges of getting a new business going. Even though he expressed great faith in God, he was quite troubled because his business was not progressing as quickly as he had hoped it would. Things appeared so bad, he feared he was headed into bankruptcy.
As we talked I assured him that it was really true that with God all things are possible and it was therefore entirely possible for his business to not only be saved, but to grow and prosper. This sounded good to him and he was eager to learn and do whatever was needed for success.
I reminded him that God in him was his supply and if he would spend a little time in prayer and mediation every morning, things would begin to change. He was instructed to ask for guidance, to listen, and to faithfully follow the guidance given to him.
He was also instructed to get out of the “misery pit” he had put himself in and to no longer give any thought to the possibility of failure. He was to develop a positive, optimistic attitude of expectancy, and generate from deep within sincere gratitude for every small and large blessing. He was to be grateful for what he expected to achieve and receive. Since he wasn’t tithing, he was to begin immediately and faithfully continue. This young man was ready and quickly agreed to do as he was instructed.
When I next saw him, he was liked a totally different person. He was much happier, appeared healthier, and he smiled a lot. He told me that doing as I suggested, was like a miracle, and his business was prospering more than he had imagined it would. He’d even met, and gotten engaged to a lovely young lady.
Whatever your level of financial abundance, or lack therefore, you can prosper, or prosper more. Learn to think and act in a certain way – the way of ever-increasing prosperity.

The Magic Box – Part Three
If we can show you what is wrong with your thinking, that knowledge should constitute the greater part of the cure for you. One of the reasons people fail to demonstrate sufficient income is that they imagine something other than God as their source of supply. Another reason is that they try to build prosperity without God. We cannot function from the Source (center) of Supply without Him. Those who do not understand this will try to change outer circumstances without changing their consciousness.
It is essential for you to make a firm decision regarding the things you want to demonstrate, however, it is more important for you to change your mind in order to be successful in your quest. Actually, the more you forget yourself and focus on God, the greater will be your demonstration. The reason for this is that God is in-exhaustible plenty and when you allow your mind to be centered in God, all that God is comes pouring into your life in wonderful abundance.

Appreciates Help! – Your letter really helped me. Since you wrote to me, I have made it a point to take time every morning and have my talk with God and to listen to what He has to say to me. This time of prayer and meditation is wonderful. I follow through on the guidance given to me and it is making a big difference. I am more relaxed, peaceful, healthier, and my prosperity is growing nicely, especially since I began to tithe. Your taking time to answer my questions showed me that you really care. This means a lot to me. My tithe is enclosed. – P. D. in Florida

Every hour and moment you spend in giving heed to doubts and fears, every hour you spend in worry, every hour in which your soul is possessed by unbelief, sets a current away from you in the whole domain of intelligent substance. – Wallace D. Wattles
The idea that work and struggle are inevitable is nonsense. Inside the energy of abundance, there is no struggle, only flow. If you are struggling, there is something about your thinking or your modus that needs adjustment. Effort is a natural part of our physical state, but struggle is effort laced with emotion, and that is unnatural and unholy. You don’t need it. – Stuart Wilde
Your job is to become aware of the Divine Presence. Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto you. (Job 22:21) Get acquainted with your inner powers, and you will experience happiness, prosperity, and peace of mind. – Joseph Murphy
